Ideal Screw Piers combine 3 key functions into one when used to support transportable buildings and raised floors. The installation of screw piers can provide the builder with the foundations, adjustable pier cap and the connection for tie down of the building. The installation can be completed by one crew, therefore minimising time and coordination of different trades. Added to this all Ideal screw piers above ground are hot dipped galvanised (HDG 600) with bituminous tape at ground level for greater protection.
Whether you’re craning transportable buildings into position or using hydraulic equipment the thing you’ll appreciate the most is the saving of time. The Levelling of the adjustable pier caps during installation allows for the building to be installed level, eliminating any packing.
The old days of getting the concretor to pour pad footings ready for the brickie to lay brick piers just so your carpenter can install the bearers and joists… ARE GONE. There’s a better way now.
