The Ideal screw pier system is different to other foundations on the market due to the modular design. The Ideal pier is an off the shelf modular system with a bolted male/female connection including the helix. The interlocking connections allow the installation of variable lengths with no delays. Screw piering gives the builder greater control when dealing with inclement weather, eliminating collapsing trenches, and any unforeseen site conditions. Gaining this cost control at such an early stage is critical in streamlining your building process. For some sites, builders can receive a fixed price for screw piering.
Cost effective for residential foundations 1.5m and deeper!
A Lot Classification report is essential for any residential build. It provides information about the soil, identifies potential problems, and provides soil density and wind classification information to the structural engineer for designing a cost-effective slab. Order online
Ideal screw piers are designed to achieve the required capacities specified by your structural engineer. With a range of screw piers in a modular form, we can respond quickly to keep your project moving.
See how they’re manufactured
Ideal screw piers are installed to your structural plans. Each screw pier is installed to the designed depth and capacity, with readings logged and documented. Piers are numbered, matching your plans with achieved capacity. Our engineers review and sign off on each installation.
Certification will be required by your certifier or engineer to ensure the structural engineers’ design has been achieved. This is either issued by our in house engineers or if required, an independent engineer will provide documentation.
